Wednesday Salon 2012 Series
The Wednesday Salons are an intimate evening of readings of new plays by local writers, and have often included performance, puppetry, sound and visual elements as well as music. The Salons provide new and experienced writers the opportunity to hear their work read aloud by actors in the presence of a live audience, quite often for the first time. Some may be works in development or works in progress. It gives the playwrights a chance to listen for expression and emphasis they would miss by just reading over the words by themselves. An audience feedback session and discussion follow each reading/performance.
